Yes, it's been quite a long time since my last post, but I have an excuse. I won an Ipad from an arcade machine in the mall and I've been trying to master some art apps. The following examples represent my foray into Ipad Art. Basically, high tech finger painting.

Monday's Mantra
Don't worry about a thing
Cause evry little thing gonna be alright.

Big Loss
This is an example of falling in love with an element of the design then failing to see the flaws because you're too close . Don't try this at home.
Here's the initial sketch.
Then, after a few more color studies. A tweak here and there in the drawing.
The final piece

Here's where things went sour. I liked the idea of Batman evading Manbats'attack, doubling back toward him using a common offfice chair. Then, enacting the switch that drops the giant belljar from the ceiling, trapping Manbat.

and add a comicbook fantasy element.
From this point I took my sketchbook to my local
conveniant store with gas pumps and did some sketches.
I then came up with this:
Realizing Hellboy was barely visible behind the van I came up
with the next sketch:
And then the final:

More ATC (Art Trading Cards)
These cards are 2.5" X 3.5". They are offered as open invitations. Another artist will request an image to take that offer, Then , after stating his/her name, will make another offer. This is usually open. Then the whole process starts again.
